I cant believe that January is coming to an end.  This time in the mission seriously doesn't feel real, it doesn't feel like 2 years.  I now have 5 months in the mission almost a 1/4 into the mission, that's nuts man.  I really forget about the time in the mission and focus on our investigators and different ways we can help find these new people that  God is preparing for us to teach.  I'm so very greatful for the Gift of Revelation and I know that my leader over the missionaries and us the missionaries for this ward of Guajitos is true.  This week we meet with our ward mission leader to talk about our "plan of action" for this area.  As we both had our ideas and thoughts written down on paper we realized that our ideas and thoughts were exactly the same.  At this moment we all looked at each other a we knew that this was revelation from God, to work in this plan, to find those less active, and to find those investigators that God is preparing for us, not on

Hey mama sounds like fam is really doing good with work and with all those fun activities.  Please send me videos and pics of everyone especially with Brett playing football.  Rodrigo is baptized but was inactive but Elder Juarez and I helped him come back to church by taking him with us to our investigators.  But he is really doing good and is preparing to serve a missions the end of this year.  I got a pic from Robyn and it was her and Cayden at Timmys wedding.  So good to see them.  How you doing mama?  Hows dad? and the kids?   This change has really been awesome for me because even though my comp has 9 months in the mission i feel like the person that takes the lead in everything, which will help me as I continue because we both have the same goals for our area of Guajitos.  We have really good goals for this area, ways to incorporate those members in missionary work.  Im really excited to see our ideas start working and really finding those less active members in this ward.

Letters to Derick

Below is the address to where you can send letters or packages to Derick.  The post office does not go there so this is the only way.  His birthday is February 23rd and it would be fun for him to get some letters from some of you.  Letters are no cost just mail to the address below.  Just add Elder Gray Guatemala City South mission below Mayan Xpress.  If you want to send a package find mayanxpress on facebook and contact them for specifics.  It's pretty easy and safe since they personally take everything right to the mission home.

Man sounds like New Years was just a huge party, and I'm jealous that you guys have seen the new Star Wars twice, but its ok ill see it soon lol.  That's awesome all the kids seem content with all there activities and everything that they are doing.  Brett the little QB huh, hes gonna be a Cam Newton running with the ball instead of passing haha thats awesome.  Send me vids and photos once he starts playing.   This last week in the Mish has been really good.  We´ve been struggling to find new contacts and people to listen to our message.  For the past couple days i've really been focusing my prayers on finding these people that God is preparing for us to teach.  I know that my prayers have been answered because this last week we found 3 well prepared people that have so much potential and that need this Gospel.   1 of the 3 really sticks out to me, and i truly feel that she was one of the people that was being prepared by the Lord. Her name is Irma Trujllo and she i

The best Christmas present ever was being able to skype with Derick on Christmas Day.  To see my boy and hear his voice was absolutely amazing.  When he came on the t.v. we all just started screaming and yelling!!!  It was nice to be able to ask him so many questions that we had about his area, living conditions, ward, missionary work and get an answer right away.  He is so happy and loves his mission and the people.  I have so many videos but it is not letting me upload them.  If I can figure it out I'll add them later.
